Five Months

Tough Guy. Eh, not so much. He's actually pretty easy as babies go. These days he likes to giggle at his brothers, chew on his toys, pull Mama's hair, honk Daddy's nose, and eat. And eat and eat and eat.

Yesterday he started saying Mom-mom. It's pretty funny, and it reminds Mommy a lot of baby Wyatt.

Four Months and Three Years

Someone turned four months old today. Not sure who it is? Well, here are some clues:

1. He has red hair.

2. He weighs almost 18 pounds and is 26 inches tall.

3. He can almost roll over (and has actually succeeded a couple of times).

4. He giggles at his big brothers.

5. He drools a lot and sticks everything in his mouth, including Sophie the giraffe, burp cloths,
    Daddy's fingers, toys, etc.

6. He loves to take a long afternoon nap.

7. He is loved so much by everyone he meets.

Colby is three years old! And Mommy just wants to say that this picture is one of her favorites ever. Look at that sweet smile and that little hand. He's just a wild, crazy, funny, precious little guy.

November Happenings

Wyatt and Colby moved into the same bedroom and are sleeping in their new bunkbeds! 

 

 We met our favorite celebrity chef, Pioneer Woman Ree Drummond! 

 Jackson began sucking his thumb. It's not a habit yet, but it's really cute when he does it!

 Colby built a garage/fort/city/castle with his big blocks.

 Cuddles with the baby are still a favorite among the boys.

Three Months

Baby Jackson is three months old today. Y'all! That's a quarter of a year! He's wearing a cute bib from Auntie Laura and Uncle Winfield in that photo, and boy does he need it! Our little guy is a spitter and a drooler these days. We're not expecting a tooth to pop through any time soon, but we know the teething process has probably begun.

This month Jackson has become more interested in people than ever before. He looks at us and wants to touch us. He smiles like it's his job. He also tries to talk to us, although it usually sounds something like, "A-goo. Aggle aggle aggle. Shahhhhh!"

A big milestone this month has been reaching for objects. When he's in his bouncy seat, Jackson will reach up for the toys hanging on the bar above him. He also reaches for things we hold in front of him. One of his favorite things to grab is hair. Ouch!

Jackson continues to win over everyone each day with his cute, squishy self. One of his biggest fans is this guy...
