A week ago we celebrated Nellie's sixth birthday. She loved opening her gift, a new pink collar with an ID tag. We love you, Pretty Girl!
Wyatt's second Thanksgiving was a lot more interesting than his first! We started the day at Nana and Papaw's house...
Wyatt joined everyone in feasting on turkey, mashed potatoes, green beans and rolls. His favorite item? Whipped cream on pumpkin pie! This boy has his mama's sweet tooth! We had a great time talking and eating with everyone, and we are very thankful to Nana, Papaw, Uncle Brad, Kaitlyn and Ava in our lives.
Although he wasn't terribly hungry for more turkey, Wyatt was ready to play! Grandpa Danny got down in the floor and bounced Wyatt around a bit, and Grandma Mary showed Wyatt where Great-grandma keeps her stash of toys for the little grandkids. He had a blast, and we so enjoyed spending time with Aunt Helen, Uncle Ed, Aunt Mary Ann, and Uncle Doug, who were all in from out of town. We are so thankful for Great-grandma, Grandma, Grandpa and all our loved ones from around the country!
Thank you, Sir, for letting us be your people. We'll love you and miss you forever.
Last weekend, Wyatt celebrated his second Halloween and his first Trick-or-Treat! As you could tell from Wordless Wednesday, he dressed up as a little lion. He really liked his costume...
...or maybe the attention it got him. Either way, he was quite adorable, especially when viewed from the rear...
We decided to go trick-or-treating in Nana and Papaw's neighborhood, seeing as how our own road doesn't do it. We carried him the whole way, and he was such a good boy--er, lion! He didn't squirm or fuss or try to pull off his mane. Again, he got lots of attention from everyone, so that helped!
That's Lily (dressed as a princess), Little Frank (dressed as a hot dog), Nana, Baby Ava (dressed as ketchup--very cute!), Kaitlyn, Auntie Kim (dressed as a witch), Wyatt, Mommy, Daddy, Papaw, and Rider (dressed as a clown). Uncle Brad was there too; he took this picture.
