At the Zoo

We had a blast at the zoo today. We saw the giraffe eat a snack, admired the tulips, fed some starving goats (haha), and visited the boys' favorite place--the insect house. Jackson did a great job on his first zoo visit, and the boys all agreed that we can't wait to go back with Daddy and show him the giant cockroaches...and the white tiger...and the elephants...and the Night Hunters...and the--well, you get the picture.

Wyatt at Bat

He's pretty good at making contact with the ball, but the best part is when he heads for first base. Excitement gets the best of him and let's just say he overlooks some minor details...like touching first base. :) At least he was running in the right direction!

Easter Fun

We colored eggs with Nana, Papaw and Ava...

...and we could tell the kids have matured because this was the first year they didn't toss the eggs into the dye. Instead, they placed them in nicely. :)

This guy sat in his high chair and supervised.

Pretty eggs!

The kids enjoyed an Easter Egg Hunt at the park. Wyatt was on a mission!

Colby was feeling goofy! He was in a younger age division this year, but next year he'll be in with Wyatt and Ava. Oh boy!

 The best part...

 ...is checking out your goodies!

The next morning we woke up to discover that the Easter Bunny had visited!

The big boys got new rainboots and nets for catching frogs...

...and for his first Easter, Jackson got a bouncy ball and some puffs.

We had great weather and great fun this Easter!

Outside

 Freckle love.

On top of the world.

 Colby's bouquet.

Jack meets a dandelion.

After a loooooooooooooooooong, cold, snowy winter, we're so excited to get back outside!

Eight Months

Oh, this boy. He's gone from a squishy little newborn to practically a toddler overnight! He is a crawler, a sitter, a toy explorer, a smiler and so much more. We can't wait to find out what he'll master this month. Love you, llittle Jackson!

T-ball

Our biggest boy recently had his first t-ball practice. He practiced some catching skills and seemed to have a good time. It's always fun to watch beginners play a sport. In terms of t-ball, the kids looked like they were trying to trap a spider with their gloves rather than scoop up a ball. Should be a fun season!

Seven Months

Today Jackson turns seven months old! He's getting very good at sitting unassisted, as you can tell from the photo above. He also pushes up and thinks about crawling, but hasn't done so yet. He can scoot all over the place going in reverse, though!

Jackson loves playtime. We put him down on the rug with his toys and he's content for about ten minutes or so. His favorite game is knocking down block towers that his brothers build for him.

He is beginning to eat solid foods. Here he is tasting sweet potatoes for the first time.

Hmmm. Not sure he's a fan of that flavor!

Jackson is developing more of a personality every day! He says, "Buh buh" (our word for brother), and he definitely loves his brothers. Every time they do something naughty (i.e. belch or toot), he giggles. We think he fits right into the family!

We love you, Big Baby!
