Because he can sit up fairly well on his own now, Wyatt started riding in the shopping cart like a big boy yesterday. He enjoyed sitting up high and seeing all the people and products. In one aisle we came across another mommy and her toddler son, who was fussing. "Look at that little baby," she said. "He's not throwing a fit." Aw. Wyatt's so good he makes other babies look bad!
After a while, he did get a little fussy, so Mommy gave him her coupon organizer to chew on. He also started to lean to the side a bit. He's clearly still getting the hang of this sitting unassisted thing. Overall, our shopping trip was a success (saved over 50% on groceries at Meijer, woot woot!) and we will not be returning to the dark ages of Mommy wearing Wyatt in the Bjorn the whole time. Do you hear that sound? That's Mommy's spine emitting a joyous sigh of relief!
